The Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens in Brisbane is the most gorgeous location for couple and engagement photography. I had the pleasure of capturing Grace and Bryce for a couple photography session here in October 2020 and the Botanical Gardens provided many amazing photo locations.

Starting in the Tropical Display Dome, the blues and warm light created a beautiful background. The dome is set up with a path that leads you from entry to exit around a central pond that is surrounded by beautiful plant life. This dome is open from 9am – 5pm daily and one attraction I definitely recommend going to for stunning photos.

We then moved into the Fern House which added some luscious green into the photos. The Fern House has more than 80 species of ferns inside which you experience as the path leads you through the area and over bridges. This attraction is open from 9am – 4pm every day.

Next we took a walk through the gardens and over to the Lagoon pier. This little spot provided us with so many goodies! With the gorgeous lagoon covered with lillies and wildlife, the photos really come alive with pink and purple flowers.
